Thinking for the healthy snacks as well as yummy & colorful then go for this apple fingers recipe. Simple recipe with very less ingredients & it takes only 10 minutes to prepare. Kids who don't eat fruit also like this recipe. Apple is high in fiber & less in calorie. Taking a apple per day keep you away from the doctor. But kids doesn't understand all these facts & eat the fruit as it is. So trying different recipes with fruits & veggies attracts the kids and make them to eat healthy foods. I like to share more & more different & colorful recipes in future with veggies & fruits which gets more attention from kids. - Take the fresh 2 apples & peel it
- Slice it into fingers
- Pour lemon juice on the sliced apples & toss it well
- Heat the pan with 1tbsp of butter
- Add 2tbsp of jaggery & allow it to melt
- Add sliced apples to the jaggery syrup
- Toss it well. Sliced apples should be covered with the jaggery syrup
- Cook for 7-9 minutes .Allow it to absorb all the jaggery syrup. Toss in between which ensures even spreading of jaggery syrup on the apple slices
- Switch off the flame & transfer it into the bowl & Serve it cool. Top it with little Jaggery syrup
- No need to any water to make Jaggery syrup, Just melt it with the butter in the heat itself
- Don't cook the apples completely then it will become mushy
