Cabbage kofta | How to make Cabbage Kofta | Healthy Evening snacks for kids - Naughty Little BEES Kitchen

When I really don't have any idea of what to make with cabbage usual poriyal or Manchurian that time I came up with the idea of making this recipe. I am really worried a lot about the results and whether my little-one eat this or not i had lot of thoughts on my mind while making this. But Really it turned out well it was big hit too and she likes it and saying that I like this Cabbage Vada. She can give any name to the dishes i felt happy that she finally ate the vegetable😀

 

       Dish Name:Cabbage Kofta        Preparation Time: 15 minutes
       Cuisine: Indian                        Serves:2-3 people 
 

Ingredients needed

Finely chopped cabbage -1 cup*
Besan- ½ cup
Corn flour-2tbsp
Finely chopped onion-1
Curd-3tbsp
Salt – as needed

Masala Powders

Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Red chili Powder - ½ tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp

* I used half of the big cabbage

*1Cup-240ml

Preparation

  1. Take a mixing bowl to that add finely chopped cabbage, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, besan, curd and salt

  2. Mix everything well with your hands if needs add little water say 2tbsp
  3. Heat the paniyaram pan in low to medium heat. Pour a drop of oil in each of the cavity
  4. Wet your palms with water and make small size balls and fill the paniyaram pan with the small-sized balls and pour little oil on each ball. Close the paniyaram pan with a lid and cook for 2-3 mins on each side
  5. Take it carefully with a small spoon. Now your cabbage kofta is ready to serve. We had with RawMangoRice it was great

Notes
  1. You can deep fry the balls also for rich taste. I want to make it healthy so i choose paniyaram pan
  2. You can finely add onion and grated carrot to it 
  3. You can even add little grated cheese to it to make it more rich if you are giving it for only snacks. We had with rice this is the perfect version goes well with rice.
