Homemade Condensed Milk | How to make Condensed milk - Naughty Little BEES Kitchen
Homemade Condensed Milk is always useful for making kheer, sweet recipes and kulfi or any kind of ice creams. It takes nearly 20 minutes to prepare this recipe and we can use it on any ice creams or kulfi or even on sweet recipes.I will post recipes like ice creams or kulfi using condensed milk in upcoming posts as soon as possible. Because we all know kids always love to eat ice creams.

Ingredients needed
Milk-4cups*
Sugar-1/2cup
Corn flour-1tsp
Water-2tbsp
*1cup-240ml
Preparation
- Pour 2cups of milk in heavy bottom pan
- Allow it to boil
- Milk starts to boil nicely
- Add 1/4 cup of sugar to the milk and mix it well
- Keep the flame low to medium, stir in between to avoid getting burnt and scrap the sides of the pan.The color of the milk starts to change. Adding sugar in this stage will give nice color
- Take bowl add corn flour and little water mix it well without any lumps
- Allow it to cook for 8-10minutes. Quantity of the milk reduced to half and texture also becomes little thick. Switch off the flame
- Allow it to cool. After cools change it to the air tight container
- Homemade condensed milk is ready
Notes
- I used cow milk as we buy it regularly. You can use toned milk too
- Add sugar with the milk when it boils, will give you nice color for the condensed milk
- Adding corn flour will give nice texture to the recipe
- As I prepared bulk quantity it takes 35 minutes for me. If you make smaller quantity you can quickly made it than me
