When you have left over idlies and wanna try some new snacks or starter then you can go for this simple yet yummy recipe which got big hit in my house. I always prefer simple and healthy recipes for kids.You need to refrigerate idlies for 2-3 hours else you will end-up with sticky pakoda.

Ingredients needed
Leftover Idlies-2
Besan/Gram Flour-1/4 cup
Corn Flour-2 tbsp
Water-1/4 cup*+2tbsp
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Redchili powder-1/4 tsp
Salt-as needed

*1Cup-240ml

Preparation
  1. Refrigerate Idlies for atleast 2-3 hours. Take a mixing bowl add Besan, Corn Flour, redchili powder,turmeric powder,salt.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients well,. dd 1/4 cu water and make a thick paste, If you feel its too thick add 2tbsp of water to it
  3. Cut the Idlies into cubes and mix with the besan paste well with your hands.Rest this for 20-30 mins.Heat the kadai with oil. Oil needs to get hot if you drop the little besan paste it should raise immediately. Drop the idly cubes covered with besan paste carefully in the oil one by one. Turn it carefully to get it cook evenly
  4. Wait till the 'ssh' sound goes off and take out the fried idly cubes and dry it in kitchen towel. Now its ready to serve. Serve it with tomato sauce
  
Notes
  1. Refrigerate idlies for the best results
  2. Dont make the besan paste too runny then it will drink oil
  3. You can increase the quantity as per your need by double the proportion
