Paalkova | Thiratipaal | How to make Palkova at home | Festival recipe - Naughty Little BEES Kitchen

This the famous south-Indian dessert which was my favorite childhood dessert ever. We had cows in house so my mom prepares very large quantity of paalkova in the bigger pot with fresh cow milk which tastes so yummy. Now I am doing this recipe for my little-one and no doubt she loves it. It was her favorite milk ice-cream she gave that name. Whatever the name is goal is achieved yeah😉. My goal is to make her eat healthy foods with all her heart in that way my goal is achieved with this recipe. I am here giving you the simplest way of making this recipe and sure you will love it too😍

Dish Name:Paalkova     Preparation Time: 25 minutes
Cuisine: South-Indian              Serves:2-3 people

Ingredients needed
Milk(Full Cream/Cow milk)-1 litre
Sugar-1/4  cup*
Cardamom-1 pod
Ghee-1 tsp

*1Cup-240ml

Preparation
  1. Take the heavy bottom pan add milk to it allow it to boil in low to medium heat.Stir in-between to avoid getting it burnt
  2. Milk starts to boil keep the ladle on the top of the pan as shown in the picture to avoid overflowing. Don't forget to stir in regular intervals

  3. When the milk starts to thicken add sugar to it and stir well. Add cardamom pot too give a good stir
  4. When it comes to semi gravy consistency switch off the flame because paalkova gets thick after cooling so this is the right consistency to get the yummy dish.Allow it to cool and serve
Notes
  1. Use cow milk and thick bottom pan for the best results
  2. You can add even brown sugar to make it more healthy
